Jeffrey Cobelli is a passionate production professional with experience writing, directing, shooting, editing, and producing projects both large and small. He holds a BA in Film and Television from Emerson College, and is the founder and president of Good For You Productions.
During his college years he worked as editor for the award-winning college newspaper The Viking News, and later hosted his own radio show on the award-winning college radio station WERS.
He studied directing, editing, and cinematography at Emerson College in Boston, MA before interning at the respected post-production house ‘Finish Editorial’, where he worked on productions for major national accounts that included Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s, and ESPN.
Upon moving to the New York City area Jeffrey began internships at Killer Films and Shoot ‘Em Up Film Media where he discovered a new talent after being asked by producers to provide voiceover work for the film Then She Found Me (2007), starring Helen Hunt and Matthew Broderick.
Jeffrey later joined Howard TV where he worked in various capacities on productions that included The Howard Stern Show and The Miss Howard Stern Show (2008). Following his work with Howard TV, Jeff joined Rock Me TV full-time, producing, directing, shooting, and editing pieces that highlighted various professional sports and music luminaries in the NYC area.
Finally, in May of 2009, Jeffrey started his own production company- Good For You Productions. Since its inception, Good for You has produced three powerful, socially impactful documentaries: The Making of A Mogul, ChiroMission and Someday Melissa. Someday Melissa has been featured in the New York Times as well as on NBC's The Today Show with Matt Lauer. Jeffrey's work is marked by a dedication to his subjects, and a desire to help improve the lives of others through his work. Recent work has been with organizations such as, American Heart Association, Locks of Love, The National Eating Disorder Association and the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, Inc. to name a few.
