Grain Media

Grain Media started life in 2006 when two chaps from 'extreme sports' backgrounds met and decided that, like Voltron, they should join forces.

Since then, Grain's gone from strength to strength. We've produced a huge variety of content, from hard-hitting investigative documentaries and action sports films/series, through to promos and music videos. We even do regular youth-work, training and pro-bono work for charities, just so our Mums love us a bit more.

We've filmed all sorts of stuff all over the world from Death Valley to the North Pole and from Afghanistan to the Himalayas. In 2008 alone we filmed in 24 different countries and produced over 300 edits.

More recently, Grain has started to specialise in online content and has carved a name for itself as a leading web content provider from high-end webclips, to fast turnaround web features from all corners of the planet.

The future for Grain looks bright. We're winning lots of awards for our work, we're producing more documentaries and higher-end promos / TV ads, we've branched into comedy, and have a feature film in development with Film 4.
