Paavo Hanninen is an award-winning filmmaker & writer whose films have played at festivals around the world. He received a bachelors in English & Creative Writing degree from the University of Alabama & an MFA in film production from the University of Texas-Austin.
He won a number of accolades including the Tom Wolfe Award, Jeremy Lespi Award, & named a Semi-Finalist in the Faulkner-Wisdom Novella Competition for his novella “TBM,”. His short-film-turned-feature-script “Tiny Tape Recorder” has currently been named a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriters’ Lab.
