Greg has over twenty years experience in the film business;
producing commercials, corporate films and music videos in countries all over the world including, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, Europe the Middle-East and America.
In 2007, as location producer, Greg worked with the British Army’s expedition to conquer the Summit of Mount Everest. The quest to climb the perilous West Ridge route was recorded and edited at Base Camp and transmitted back to the UK via satellite on a daily basis providing a vivid and astonishing visual diary of the event. At the end of 2007 Greg produced a film for the 2016 Qatar Olympic bid committee.
In 2008 Greg produced the Singapore Youth Olympic Games bid film that that helped win the games for Singapore. He also also won the Grand Prix at the 2009 IVCA international film awards with a film for the Football League.
In 2009/2010 Greg was the senior producer responsible for all media content for the United Arab Emirates Pavilion at the Shanghai 2010 World Expo. This role included controlling the multi-million dollar budget, overseeing all production in the UAE and supervising post production across the entire Pavilion. Greg personally produced 3 of the 5 acts that comprised the show.
In 2010/2011 Greg produced a brand film for Saudi Aramco, the worlds largest oil company. The project, shot on the Red camera using ‘motion control’ was filmed over 22 days in Saudi Arabia, America, Hong Kong, Scotland and England.
Greg is currently working as the senior producer overseeing production of 17 films for the UAE pavilion at the Korean World Expo. This opens in May 2012. He is also in early production on a feature length documentary on the life of Muhammed Ali. The story is told by those closest to Ali.
Greg has also worked as a 1st Assistant Director for over 15 years. His experience in this role has given him a deep insight and understanding of a range of production methods; from compact small units to ambitious multi-camera 35mm commercial shoots for some of Britain’s largest advertising campaigns. This affords Greg in-depth understanding of how best to approach projects of all sizes.
