My name is Gregory Evans and I'm a 22-year-old racing driver.
In 2008, I made my debut in the Jim Russell sprint karting championship, where I placed on the podium twice and finished 9th in the championship alongside Formula and GT car veterans. In 2009, I hotly contested the Jim Russell championship again, placing 3rd in the championship and gaining two wins, 7 podiums, two poles and 2 fastest lap awards, including one clean sweep (pole, led all laps of race, set fastest lap).
In 2010 I made the jump to full size race cars at the Skip Barber Racing School at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca where I took a number of formula car schools and competed in the 14th annual Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shoot-Out.
Then in 2011 I made my sports car debut in the SCCA San Francisco Region Sunoco Challenge racing in the Sealed Spec Miata class. I picked up a number of podium finishes, and finished 3rd in both the Sunoco championship and the Racing Driver's Club championship. I was also SFR SCCA's Rookie Driver of the Year.
Here I will post on-board and helmet-cam footage from my various motorsports exploits in 2012 and beyond!
