Hey my name is Nathan AKA SG, or whatever version of super-grom the people of vancouver decide to give me. I started blading in like 2004, i met Tommy and he was doing a frontside on along handicap rail by himself. At the time i was a bmxer and thought wow i didnt know people could do that on rollerblades, so i approached him and asked him where he got his skates, little did i know that Tommy didnt talk to much (he still doesnt) i got an Outaline card (which isnt open anymore but was the hot spot for skate products and the only store in vancouver at the time) where i saved all my money and bought my first skates, Razors Cult 4s(?) size 10! I probably skated by myself for like 2 years not knowing anyone but Mike and Tony who worked at the store. i didnt progress very quickly in those two years, but i skated probably 5 days a week at the same park (and i still do surprisingly). then one day i was on my way to Outaline when i met Tommy and Jasper, they took me to some spots and me and jasper exchanged phone numbers. Since then i've skated with them, and met more people.

Outaline is gone now, but the bladers of Vancouver are not and a new shop has opened up in Outaline's absence. That would be Shop-task which proved to be even better in all aspects. Also the owner is a blader too! Through the years (so far) i've enjoyed watching videos and skating. So once day when i was on vacation in Toronto i got a wicked deal on a mini dv camera. 300$ for the camera case and 20 tapes! Since that day i've been filming myself, my friends and anything else that catches my interest. My parents think im good at it and that i should go to school for it. But i saw fuck that it'll turn into my job and i dont want to do that for my job. I'd rather be a carpenter or something. Anyway i created this account to showcase the mostly unexposed bladers in Canada, in a sport that seems to be dominated by US and European skaters. Hopefully one day ill get to take trips to European cities and other places, but at the end of my life my hope is that by my hand Canada's bladers will get even a fraction more exposure than we currently have. Besides We're Better....WHY?! We got Richie Eisler and Dustin Werbeski.....nuff said.
Peace And Love, Nathan SG St-Arnaud
