The idea for Group Home Bikes started in the mind of our late friend Ben Soto as a Staten Island, New York based BMX company. Ben Soto passed at the age of 21 due to a heart attack and as a testament to him the dream of Group Home Bikes was brought into fruition in 2001 by a group of his closest friends.
Group Home Bikes as a soft goods BMX company has had it’s ups and downs over the years but is currently experiencing a resurgence in the form of a website dedicated to covering the Staten Island, New York BMX scene.
Group Home Bikes is currently maintained by Ed Pollio and Marc Kachtan but our strength comes from every kid riding on Staten Island and representing GHB.
