Fif Fernandes is a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher and the Director of Laughter Yoga Canada (laughteryoga-canada.org). She has trained Laughter Yoga Leaders in Canada and was the first one to do so in East Africa. She works as a Therapeutic Clown in Emergency, Intensive Care and Oncology at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Fif co-founded of The Art of Peace – a Camp for Kids, now in its 5th year. In 2009, with her actor/ writer husband Hamish Boyd, CLYL, she co-founded a Peace Camp for kids who had been brutalized by the 21 year civil war in Northern Uganda. She is an international award winning film and television director, producer and actor.
