Film Kitchen is now accepting submissions for its annual Film Kitchen Contest. The theme this year is Ketchup. Short films (under 4 minutes) may be submitted in any genre (narrative, experimental, documentary, or animation). Final format must be a Quicktime Apple ProRes file. The deadline for submissions is May 24 at 5:00pm. For more information about submitting work to the contest, email Matthew R. Day at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The show will be held on Tuesday, June 11 – during the Three Rivers Arts Festival – at the Harris Theater in downtown Pittsburgh. A panel of judges will award cash prizes for first place ($150), second place ($75), and third place ($50), as well as an Audience Choice award ($50).
