Monday 8 December 2008 saw the first ever track to be recorded by members of LMO in the orchestra's own studio at Timbers in Weybridge, Surrey - thus fulfilling a personal dream of LMO Founder and Music Director, Andy Brown.
The Amr Diab track was arranged by Pete Beachill for 2 trumpets (Simon Gardner and Andy Greenwood) and trombone (Pete Beachill himself). Kevan Gallagher was the engineer and the record company Rotana Records.
2 more tracks were later recorded by guitarist Jon Bishop in what has become an ongoing project between LMO, Amr Diab and producer Hassan El Shafei at Timbers studio.
