This video was created to inform public library trustees about resources from the Montana State Library and the Montana Library Association that support the mission of public libraries. Al Logan, a trustee at the Flathead County Library System, whose main branch is in Kalispell, MT interviews Montana State Librarian, Jennie Stapp, Pathfinder Library Federation Coordinator Brett Allen of the Fairfield Library, and 2012-13 President of the Montana Library Association, Anne Kish. Viewers are encouraged to view the 21 minute video in short segments, pausing to discuss how each organization featured in the video may provide benefits and support to a local public library.
A facilitator's guide is available to help guide discussion and to provide more information.
Trustees and library staff who view the video AND complete the discussion activities in the facilitator's guide may earn one continuing education credit in the CE category: library administration.
