                          The United Nations Forum on Forests Secretariat, together with the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival and leading nature filmmakers worldwide, invite you to take part in a first-ever multimedia initiative.

                          Forests for People is a short film contest that invites everyone, in every part of the world, to create and share a personal film about their own relationship to the forest. How you create your film is entirely up to you. Use whatever you have to tell your story in 5 minutes or less. Every type of media, from video cameras to mobile footage, animation to photos, is welcome.

                          Forests for People is a short film contest that invites everyone, in every part of the world, to create and share a personal film about their own relationship to the forest. How you create your film is entirely up to you. Use whatever you have to tell your story in 5 minutes or less. Every type of media, from video cameras to mobile footage, animation to photos, is welcome.

                          This Vimeo group features the films created by the UN and leading nature filmmakers worldwide who are supporting the contest. Starting in February, we will also showcase the semi-finalist and finalist films as selected by our contest jury. Our group of finalists will enjoy a host of exclusive prizes, including a trip to Istanbul in April 2013 to premiere their films at a special UN event.
