Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales, is 1085m tall. The Llanberis Path includes 975m of ascent from Llanberis itself to the summit if Snowdon. As this was filmed on the 13th August we had to ride it in the evening due to the voluntary cycling (mountain biking) agreement. We started at 5:00 and were at the summit by 6:30. After waiting 30 mins for the clouds to break we started the descent. In total it took around 25mins to get back to Llanberis. It's hard to imagine an uninterrupted descent of 975m in vertical height which is why I would recommend it to anyone. I did the ride on my Whyte hardtail MTB showing you don't need full suspension to do a big mountain ride.
Filmed on a GoPro Hero 2 in 1080p 30fps with a Chest Mount.
