As the home of a rich and varied cultural heritage, sporting teams and world-famous events, Worcestershire has a lot to offer its residents.
As a county, it boasts award-winning, innovative architecture in The Hive, is home to one of the world's oldest classical music festivals, the Three Choirs Festival, and has a strong historical legacy as the location of the final battle in the English Civil War.
There is also a strong cultural offering with theatres in Malvern, Worcester and Bromsgrove and art house cinemas in Evesham and Pershore.
All of these aspects come together to make Worcestershire a great county in which to live and forms a strong sense of community for its residents.
By 2040, Worcestershire Next Generation believes the county will be a vibrant place to live with great social and cultural opportunities and where people are healthier but they will only be able to enjoy all of this by taking more personal responsibility for their health and wellbeing now.
