Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care is an international service organization that addresses physical and spiritual need on the U.S./ Mexico border. It provides aid to the poor such as food, clothes, school supplies, health kits, vitamins and more. Volunteer groups called “servant events” work with YLM to build houses, construct and maintain churches, provide medical care, lead VBS activities, and more. Year round ministry is supported in 12 different communities on the border in areas as diverse as inner city slums to mountain Indian villages.
