In this second part of his interview with goCognitive, Dr. Michael Posner from the University of Oregon discusses a wide range of methods that have been used in cognitive neuroscience. Ranging from basic behavioral data like error rates and reaction times, to modern brain imaging techniques and reversible lesions methods, these tools have enabled a better understanding of the functional structure of the brain. The interview was conducted at the University of Oregon by Justin Mayes, a beginning graduate student in cognitive neuroscience at the U of O.
