This is one of two TVC's that I directed, conceived and wrote in 2003 to launch BSKYB's music channel SCUZZ. An alternative rock channel aimed at a13 to 21 year old demographic at the time to compete with MTV who were bitching at the time about SKY'S carrier charges so SKY wanted to show MTV we can take away some of your shine.

SKY wanted an icon that the kids could look up to,a poster child to emulate for the disinfected English youth.
When I pitched THE MULLET MAN as id named him, they (the suits) looked like I was insane ,they were more thinking of a character that looked like the audience but regardless THE MULLET MAN became so popular they gave him and me an 8pt TV series.
