Some additional footage and problems which didn't make the final cut of our film 'The Rocklands Files' (available here: vimeo.com/33206809). It seemed a shame to waste this footage of some amazing lines from various areas around Rocklands, so I put them together into this short, additional film. I hope you enjoy it!

In September 2011, me, my girlfriend Snooky and our friends Matt & Jen flew the 6,000 miles (more or less) due south to visit the bouldering paradise of Rocklands in South Africa. Our trip was pretty short (in climbing trip terms), but in the two weeks we were there, we crammed a hell of a lot in! We spent a few days seeing the sights in and around Cape Town, before driving up country to Rocklands itself.

This is just a small amount of fantastic lines we tried such as 'Vertige' (6B+), 'Gadget' (6A+) and 'Take Off Your Shoes' (5C). You can also see Matt's siege attempt at the super technical 7A+ problem 'Planeta Tierra'.

Huge thanks to Ben for the loan of his Canon EOS 7D and to Steve for the loan of his GoPro Hero HD camera!

Also, thanks to Scott Noy for publishing his excellent Rocklands guidebook. Without that we'd have been totally lost! If you're thinking of going to Rocklands, definitely grab a copy!
