A tripod, a place with no lights and a lunar eclipse!!! On 15 June 2011 the earth is perfectly between the sun and the moon, it's the perfect occasion to shot some photos to this fantastic phenomena!!!
With a friend we placed our tripod and our camera, in my case the Panasonic Fz38, but unfortunately the clouds and the sunset light didn't allowed us to see the entire eclipse. We changed location and when the moon came out of the clouds the peak of the eclipse was just passed, but with the dark of the night we were able to see the final part of the lunar eclipse!!!
Since we are not expert photographers we follow a guide on how to shot pictures of the moon, after some attempts the result is acceptable!!!
We play around with the different settings and also some video I speed up in post-production. The pictures in the video are all post-producted in photoshop (exposure, brightness and contrast and in some case other effects such photo filter and color adjustment), the videos, instead, are speed up.
It's not a professional video, but for being an amateur I'm satisfied of the result!!! Surely I made some experience for the next eclipse...
