Those who know me well, know I am a bit of a nostalgist. Another rather spontaneous attempt to document the going-on's of my fair city of Chicago.
Each week the 4,900 sq. foot floor of Chicago's Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park blossoms into an urban dance space that features musical styles ranging from jazz to polka; afro beat to salsa. This free event encourages dancers of all ages, races and experience to step onto the floor, let go, and feel the music.
Collaborating as always with my good friend, and fellow appreciator of yesteryear, Vern Cummins. Special thanks to Dan Kenyon for making every film we do sound a whole lot better. Dedicated to my Grandparents.
