Taken on Oct 11, 2013 at the Valley Stadium, West Des Moines, Iowa. The game featured Valley High School vs Lincoln High School. I was scouting out the stadium for a future time lapse project, so I only stayed through the first quarter - but certainly found some places and angles for next fall when I plan to do a full time lapse of a game.
For this time lapse, I used a Canon 70D, Canon T1i, Canon T5i, and a Panasonic Lumix with a Muvi (to produce the panning effect for the Lumix)
For the overall shot of the stadium, I placed the T1i on the 2nd floor of a building that was about 1/4 mile away from the stadium and shot with a 50mm lens and I used aperture priority mode for the cameras settings. The 70D was placed in the pressbox overlooking the game and was also set to aperture priority mode with a 10mm lens. I then used the Canon T5i and the Lumix to take photos from various positions around the stadium.
The photo sequences were turned into quicktime videos with Adobe After Effects and final rendering was done in Adobe Premiere.
