In April-May the Bois de Halle in Belgium becomes a blanket of flowers, mainly bluebells. They last just a few weeks, in Spring. Once the leaves come out on the trees the light is shaded from the wood floor and the flowers are no more.
This was taken with a Canon HV30 and Letus Mini. I got some contrasting colours due to light differences in different parts of the wood.
