Jebel is the first installment of a larger project. Jebel Shams is The Sultanate of Oman's tallest mountain which is the main focus of this landscape project. I wanted to show the beauty of this little known landscape that makes up this part of the arab world. Traveling here is amazing, but being able to live here for some time has allowed me to record the unique beauty of the country.
Oman is blessed with clear skies for the most part which leads to great time lapse opportunities, although it's a constant fight with light pollution. While the rest of the country is on fire for most of the year with temperatures above 40˚ C the cooler temperatures atop the Jebels (mountains) are our sanctuaries.
