Nic and Soojee exchanged their vows at Our Lady of Assumption Church and celebrated their reception at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque. The entire day was full of meaningful elements such as the 1,000 origami cranes (the couple folded themselves for luck) which hung over the dance floor, photos of loved ones at the end of the aisles and a cake topper of the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco (where Nic proposed). The music within the ceremony was breathtaking and consisted of two cellos, a violin, a piano, an organ, three vocalists, and an amazing trumpet that played while SooJee walked down the aisle and into Nic’s arms. A Cherokee Proverb graced the back of the couples wedding program and was mentioned by the priest during his message to the couple. The two also shared in a pre-ceremony prayer, led by the groom’s pastor, while holding hands, careful not to see each other. The devotion this couple has for one another is apparent. Their genuine love and commitment, expressed in their hand written vows, moved the couple to tears. We felt blessed and were honored to share in this monumental time of their lives. We wish you, SooJee and Nic, all the happiness in your new lives together! Congratulations to you both!!
