Testing out two new rentals: the Sigma 35 1.4 & Canon 35 1.4. The Sigma is one beast of a lens and at a fraction of the cost of the Canon. I'm excited to throw these puppies on a Glidecam.
I've noticed that I get seemingly more noise whenever I'm filming with the Cinestyle picture profile, or maybe that's just me. I've also read that you're supposed to use ISO ranges that are multiples of 160. That could be an issue as well. Either way, I still need to get more comfortable with my color grading.
For this video, I went with a rather natural look, with punchy contrast and vibrant colors. I feel as if the video noise was a little more noticeable because the shadows weren't as washed out.
