Intro: This is actuualy my FIRST RAW video. Please check my other videos for more and even better examples. Thanks!
This was done as an exercise with Davinci Resolve, Film Convert and round-tripping to FCP X and back, and as a test of RAW vs h264 - This is the RAW version.
H264 Version is here: vimeo.com/81285051
Shot on the beach with a canon 60D and magic Lantern. The 60D only lets me capture up to about 5 seconds, and only at 1724x732 (or less). Also, with RAW I get some nasty black pixels, which i can't se any other way (not with h264 or stills - not even with RAW stills).
UPDATE: Nasty black pixels problem solved. Apparently, the problem originates from newer version on Magic Lantern. Downloading and older Version solved the problem. Nice!
If you compare the two versions, the difference are quite clear (apart from the nasty pixels) - Be sure to download the original video. I'll leave it to you to decide.
Color correction and grading with Davinci Resolve lite and Film Convert. edited with FCP X.
