I am Nick ten Hoopen, and am a professional slackliner. The sport slacklining is a balance sport best to be described as an extreme sport which involves performing tricks on a 2 – 5 cm wide trampoline. I have been practising this sport for 3 years now and climbed up from being a novice to participating in my first worldcup contest this year.

I have created a dozen of video's the last year which have been generating a lot of hits on youtube. I have been in a lott of video's made by others too. I have been sent to events ( acadia outdoor fair, ISPO, Outdoor reatail friedrichshafen, US promo tour) in different countries including the USA, Japan and Germany to do demo's and workshops. Besides this I also have been on different news channels in the US and Europe, and have been in different kinds of magazines.

At this moment I am on the 8th place in the worldcup rankings and participating in the finals in Brixen Italy at the IMS (international mountain summit).

I allready have clothing and material sponsors, but am still on the search for sponsoring in the form of money to help me train more and do different projects. And also I am looking for sponsoring involving soundsystems like boxes or headphones to help me train. In return for example you would get brand exposure in my video's, I will be available for promotional photoshooting or profesionnal demo's and workshops at events. Also you could have brand exposure in intervieuws and articles.

One week in Tokyo, for a promotional slackline tour, a photographer was following us around all week and managed to write an article that was later published in outdoor japan magazine.

One week in Helsinki Finland at the Kunto sportsfair, multiple news related articles were published about me.

A month in the US, I was part of a promo tour throughout the US westcoast. I appeared in seattle times and multiple other tv news broadcasts.

Every year I have been present ( and performing) at the ISPO outdoorfair, Outdoor retailer Friedrichshaden, and once at the acadia outdoor in Salt lake city, where the outdoor magazine published a front page article about me.

In The Netherlands I have been on RTL Z news, online virals, Tv show lottery's unforgetable Sunday, NRC next newspaper, Match women magazine and online, TV show man bijt hond, Kink FM radio, newspaper De stentor, newspaper Eindhovens dagblad

I also have done countless smaller sports events in The Netherlands and Germany ranging from university open days to induvidual courses for teachers.

My trick repetoire consists mainly out off all kinds of jumps and grabs, form which my favorites are atomic buttbounces, spins and big airs. Next to this I am also performing all kinds off static moves and combinations.
