An introduction to 1 & 2 Thessalonians, perhaps the earliest letters of Paul. Paul's enthusiasm and joy for the Thessalonian Christians cannot be contained, but he provides pastoral instruction especially with regard to their understanding of the hope they have in the one who will return one day "from heaven."
