My wife/partner, Kelly and I produce high definition programs, mostly in the travel arena, but also in fly fishing too. Fly fishing is near and dear to our hearts and a favorite pastime. We produced and hosted a show on ESPN for many years. "Fly Fishing Video Magazine" was both a passion and a job. We enjoyed the people we met and the experiences were those we'll treasure for a lifetime.

Since 2000 we've been producing only high definition programs and have come up with several series, most of which fit into our "Discoveries...(fill in the country) .

We started the series, after buying the very first HD camera and editing deck Panasonic sold in the world.

"Discoveries...Ireland", a 3 hour series was our first. We sure learned a lot and of course helped Panasonic sort out a few issues with their new camera. We then did a 3 hour series in
Argentina, to which we've added an additional hour, then 7 hours in Spain.

Shortly after we returned from the Spain location 9/11 happened and since we had spent 30 years shooting for the various television network news and documentary divisions we were immediately called into action for ABC news.

We spent several days doing live shots with John Nance who lives near us in NW washington, and came up with the idea to start driving across the U.S. producing stories that would show the world and America that our country was alive, well and certainly not "down.

ABC agreed and we spent a few weeks in that pursuit, then came up with the idea that now one had ever done a series particularly in HD, on ever sate in the U.S.. As with most of our schemes, we had no clue how we would finance the venture, but made plans to begin. Five years later it was complete.

Since then we have produced, "Discoveries...India", a 3 hour series which will continue to expand and "Discoveries...Asia", 4 hours which will also continue to grow.
