An unusually small example, this is an ovoid ring with diameters of 11.7m and 10.2m, yet it's eight stones of white quartz are by far the largest of any Cornish circle, the tallest being 2.7m high. One stone has fallen. The circle was restored c1860 when a bisecting hedge was removed and at least one urn was found. It is remotely possible that the stones retained a barrow, but they seem ridiculously large for this purpose. The site is Bronze Age.
