Following its debut last year, ARTSIDE returns to the Southend on Sea High Street in July. It will include works exhibited in the local shops and businesses, as well as lots of extra events and workshops. We're looking for site-specific artists to work with the venues but also short videos and performances.

The title PAUSE reflects the nature of the works which will show familiar places in new light.

Following its debut last year, ARTSIDE returns to the Southend on Sea High Street in July. It will include works exhibited in the local shops and businesses, as well as lots of extra events and workshops. We're looking for site-specific artists to work with the venues but also short videos and performances.

The title PAUSE reflects the nature of the works which will show familiar places in new light. Artists will be working with the shops on creating a site-specific work for each site, either related to the type of business, to the individual stories of people working there or responding to the space itself.
