Backpackers

A video taking you on a tour through Uganda - The Pearl of Africa, with Kazinga tours. Kazinga tours specialise in tailor made safaris, in this video you join a couple as they experience some of the most stunning attractions Uganda has to offer.

Murchison Falls is the first stop, located in North Western Uganda, the biggest national park in the country and home to giraffes, buffalo, elephants, antelope, warthog, birds and many more. See all these animals as you go on a game drive through the park. You then get on a boat to take a river cruise along the Nile, a unique experience made even better by the scores of crocodile, hippo, kingfishers, fish eagles and animals coming down to drink. Of course Murchison falls main attraction is the waterfall itself, the most powerful in the world and the location of Ernest Hemingway's famous plane crash. Lastly you head to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see white rhino and one of the only places in the world where you can track them on foot!

Next stop on the tour is the beautiful Kibale forest in South West Uganda. You get a view of the Chimps Nest lodge, and then go tracking chimpanzees in the forest. An unforgettable experience all round.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is the next stop. Here you see lions, elephant, buffalo and antelope before going on a cruise on the Kazinga channel. The Kazinga channel is what our company is named after and you'll see why! This 40 mile stretch of water joining Lake George to Lake Edward is teeming with wildlife from hippo, to elephants drinking, buffalo and hundreds of birds, a real highlight of the Ugandan experience.

Last stop on tour is of course Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, located right in the South West corner of Uganda. This incredible primeval rainforest is home to over half the world's population of mountain gorillas. After taking in the stunning scenery you head on on a trek through thick rainforest before spending an hour with these amazing creatures, an hour that has been described by many as a life changing experience.
