For this project I collaborated with Nemo, one of Portland's design agencies, to create a series of short TV spots for Nike's extreme sports brand "6.0".
The three 5" animations were designed at completely distinct styles and animation techniques. For one of the spots our approach was to shoot a surfer paddling over a structure populated with large cables, which simulated a digital ocean. All elements were animated and shot frame by frame, including the actual person. White power adapters were animated over the ocean bed and around the "human puppet" to simulate natural foam. Every frame was also shot with a completely different light situation to help us create the appearance of a stylized energy field.

The music and sound design were again created by Darrin Wiener.
