Another LED matrix from the Arduino, except this one is using the STP16C596 LED driver. This allows only 3 pins (plus one for +ve and gnd) to control 16 LEDs independently, creating a 2x8 (though 4x4 would probably make more sense) matrix.
These drivers can be chained together, with no exra cost to the number of pins used on the Arduino. Or I could incorporate my previous 'persistence of vision' led matrix experiment with this, and possible create a 8x8 matrix with one driver.
