apocryphal was shot in 1440 x 1080...after we edited we compressed to 1440 x 1072 and when we uploaded vimeo doesnt recognize it as an hd file....any ideas on what happened?

Have you looked over your compression settings? Is this HDV? The video seems to play fine, but I noticed your thumbnail is squished. Looks like the thumbnail is actually 1440 x 1080 instead of 1920 x 1080. Maybe you have to actually compress to 1920 x 1080?

That's what we did, and everything worked out.
