In November of 2005 the BMW plant in South Carolina began a 2 month production line overhaul, in which they were basically tearing out half of their line and refitting it to accommodate the production of the Z4, X5 and Roadster models. This was a massive undertaking. I was employed by Emulsion Arts and Director Joanne Hock to shoot time-lapse of the project. Armed with five 16mm film cameras equipped with intervalometers I spent 45 days and shot well over 20,000 feet of film.
