Filmed on location in San Diego, California. My first outing with this camera and am impressed with just the raw footage this thing delivers. I know I've overexposed a lot of beach shots, but I wanted to test how far I can push grading in FCP X. A few shots actually turned out great, IMO. Think I'll stick to Davinci Resolve for most of the grading moving forward...
Thanks to my GF for being my subject and patient while I setup my shots, among other things. :)
Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera (EF)
Canon 24-105mm L Series Lens
BMCC Auto IRIS
800 ASA (Kept it at that number to see how blown out the footage would really be on a sunny SoCal day)
ProRes / Film Mode
"Quickly" graded in Davinci Resolve (When I graded, I used one setting for all shots)
Edited in Final Cut Pro X / Crumplepop plug-ins for some shots.
