Enjoying the brilliance of the Fall with my three girls at Wachusett Mountain.
I was hoping the the skies and sun would have poked out for a bit, but still had fun testing out the dynamic range of the Blackmagic Cinema Pocket Camera. Shot with a panasonic 14-140m lens on a manfroto mono pod. ND filter, Filmed in pro res, using beta 12 of the Antler FCPX BMCC plug in. All audio from the pocket camera- seems to be better than its big brother. Not bad at all for background noise and dialogue. I wouldn't use it for a paid job, but works fine in this type of setting for those looking to keep it minimal.
I enjoyed having this much power in my pocket. Well worth the wait. Powerful little guys that is fun to use in situations that you would never want a full gear set up. Nobody noticed me with this allowing to get shots that would have been impossible with full gear.
