Productivity Commission review of the non-profit sector
Henry Tax review
The issues under consideration by these reviews will impact on the non-profit operators of aged
care and retirement living activities

BIOGRAPHIES
Professor Myles McGregor-Lowndes OAM is a Consultant to McCullough Robertson’s Non-
profit Group. He is also the Director for the Centre of Philanthropy and Non-profit Studies,
Queensland University of Technology. He has advised and held board positions in a large variety
of non-profit organisations over a period of twenty-five years. He is a consultant to McCullough
Robertson engaged solely in high level legal and taxation advice to large national and
international non-profit organisation. He is also a member of the ATO Charities Consultative
Committee on the introduction of the New Tax System and adviser to the ATO on non-profit
taxation training and education materials. He is presently a Governor of the Queensland
Community Foundation and member of the Uniting Church Assembly Legal Reference
Committee.
Simon McCabe - QLD State Manager – Carbon Planet Australia
Simon has been the State Manager for Queensland since early 2008 and is responsible for managing
a large corporate client base. Carbon Planet is a leading consultancy firm helping businesses prepare
for the carbon economy. They expertly combine scientific rigour with commercial outcomes to provide
