Hfour was invited by the City of Port Coquitlam to create an interactive piece of video art to celebrate the city's centennial.
Using heritage photos and contemporary photos taken from the same position, Hfour created an installation where the audience's silhouettes revealed the images of the new city, creating a metaphor that the residents of the city are place makers, making the city what it is today.
Hfour's team worked closely with PoCo Heritage Society, the Arts and Culture team and two local schools to create a compelling installation which engaged the community and reflected on its heritage.
The video is a demonstration of one of the two the interactive components of the installation.
