My last RND in fire sourcing/rendering in houdini 12. Micropolygon render. Pyro 2 shader with custom presets (about 3-5 min. per frame to render). Basic smoke shader (1-3 min. per frame). Fake light emission from fire. Fuel sourced by FLIP simulation of viscous fluid. Particles load no more than 100k.
