"What do you mean by sync?"
This is a term used for Syncing separate audio to video.
When you shoot video using a HDSLR it is best to use a separate audio recording device to capture audio, Such as a Zoom H4N and then sync it with the audio recorded down on the original video shot on the HDSLR, and thus eliminating the crappy audio recorded by HDSLR and using the much preferred audio recorded by the Zoom H4N.
