Tsugaru shamisen music is often a feature of a kabuki stage. Keisho OHNO's performance that evening is an exemplary role of his mode operandum preserving classics while pursuing his original style, outside the mold of traditional art. His unorthodox style is bound to gain more public attention in near future.

Keyboardist Tommy CHO is a multi talented keyboardist who pushes boundaries experimenting with JK-Soul weaving fusion jazz traits with either a customized pianica (melodica) or even the trumpet off stage. Drummer Marco KO-JI reigns his traits from influence of jazz masters like Dave Weckl. Each musicians showcased have their very distinctive style around the jazz genre. You have to hear what Japan's got to offer!

The cross cultural event was brought together by the Embassy of Japan in The Netherlands.
