Just a little experiment with Thinking Particles based on a tutorial by Alessandro Boncio on renderking.it
Actually I saw the teaser and tried to figure it out on my own before the tutorial came out, and it worked.
It was a simple setup, just two letters acting as deflectors, some Xpresso to create the particles and their behaviour, a sweeped Tracer to make the geometry and a material with a Fresnel in the color channel
Some help and inspiration came from Tim Clapham´s site helloluxx.com, where you can learn some pretty cool stuff about TP
