Visual/Editing project that was made for an Editing Theory class in FAMU (Prague, Czech Republic; part of a semester long study abroad program).
We had to basically shoot anything, then edit the same material in two different structures: Radical continuity and Radical Discontinuity. The former is the formal way of editing, linear, moving the story and audience from A to Z. The latter is that type of editing that directors like Godard would use.
I decided to film an experimental short story, about a man waking up every day to a timeless world; bound to a mysterious routine. Until one day that routine disappears, realizing his freedom, a freedom he doesn't know how to heed.
