In this test I tried the gain set at 6db. I noticed I need to calibrate the sensor at 6db setting (you see a line in the middle in some of the shoots). This blog post describes how to do it: resonanceimaging.tumblr.com/post/53475027415/ikonoskop-sensor-calibration
I'm totally new to grading, I followed these steps in Resolve (from a great blog, scroll down and you'll see the steps): blog.rawcinemashop.be/post/55167608990/chansons-de-charlotte
For this test I only graded the first shot, and then just applied the same grade to all clips. Would be an ok method for projects in a hurry or no budget for grading.
Lenses used: Zeiss Arriflex Super Speed mkII 25mm.
Really sad to see what the compression is doing to the footage... I think everyone should get their own A-cam to see the beauty of the raw files for them selves.
Have one more little test film, but since I only got a basic account and I can't upload more than one video in HD/week, I'll wait to share it...
