If you were to describe Matt + Kristin's wedding day, one might assume that the rain showing up ruined things. But oh how wrong one would be if they kept that impression. From the romantic drizzle during their First Look, to the slight downpour showing up mid-boat ride, the precipitation supplied its own personality and enhanced the Couple's "Just roll with it" attitude.
Although the festivities had to be hastily moved indoors, the Lodge of the Four Seasons accommodated Matt + Kristin's friends and family perfectly. Once the ceremony started, however, the most surreal thing happened: As the eye of the storm passed over us, the room was showered in a subtle orange glow, producing a tranquil and loving atmosphere. The reception took place next door, and was full movie props and a fitting red/black/white color scheme. Kristin and her cousins wowed the audience with a well-rehearsed dance to the Backstreet Boys, and the party raged on into the wee hours of the morning.
Matt + Kristin, thank you for showing us how to have a damn good time in the face of potential-misfortune, and for allowing us the opportunity to capture such a special day.
