Dublin transport is currently un-integrated in the city. There is no one way to explore the city from 'point a' to 'point b' without walking inbetween, or finding other resources available to connect them. To most commuters this unconnectivity is a hassle, inconvienient and stressful, but to others - who have no particular place to be - can capitalise and use as a time for reflection.
IN TRANSIT documents a single journey taken in the city and a single story once lived over time in the city, in parallel. This combination of voyage and tale brings the film to a deeper and more thoughtful dimension, expanding our understanding of urban architecture and 'lived-culture' through avant-garde film.
