Even though dyslexia affects one in five people and occurs at similar rates around the world, few people still really understand what it is. Dyslexia is an unexpected difficulty in learning how to read. With today's technologies, one can even see the differences in brain activity between a dyslexic and neurotypical brain while reading.
In an effort to encourage young dyslexics, my son and I are putting together a book with words of wisdom from adults.
