what lens for timelapse?

Can anyone recommend a good canon lense for use with timelapse? Thanks

Depends mostly on how you want your timelapse.
If you want it stylised and surreal, get a wide angle lens (I love the tokina 11-16 f/2.8) or even a fisheye lens to get some really wierd effects.
30mm is best when you want to have a nice clean image (no barrel distortion that is), and anything above that works fine aswell.
Zoom lenses are great for when you want to shoot something at a distance, but that is obvious.
